Q How do you start the sleep monitor?
A My daughter put the VeryFitPro app on my phone and then the sleep monitor automatically records my sleep cycle on the watch at night. I am able to check the data on my phone when I wake up.
Q Text messages not working? i have an iphone 12 mini, the calls do come through but it doesn’t notify me when i get texts even though i activated it.
A You may have to re-synchronize it to the VeryFitPro app again! There’s been a few times I notice it will stop sending me notifications on my watch when I can see they are on my phone. Double check that your app is connected to the watch as well as sometimes if you just turn off your Bluetooth it will stop getting notifications as well. Sometimes just making sure it’s synchronize on the regular can fix the problem! Hope this helps!
Q Does the time always show, or does it time out and turn off the screen, if it does, can you set it to not, and just have it stay on?
A The time does not always show, but there is a setting that will cause the time to show when you move your arm --- otherwise, you can always click the the little button on top of the watch (the stem) and the time will come on. I like this watch because it is very simple to program.

A Yes, I prefer to use it without the blue tooth. I usually turn off BT on both phone and watch.

A I can't say for sure. When I use my exercise bike I never have my phone with me but my watch tracks my heart rate just fine. Of course, my phone is upstairs, so that's no great distance. I've never biked and left my phone "behind".

A You do not. You can sync to your phone when you get home if you choose not to carry it. But you can ONLY track the amount of time and distance. IF you want to use the GPS portion YES, you need your phone.
Q I know this watch has 8 different fitness trackers, but I just want to know does it calculate your run in miles?
A Absolutely! It gives you your steps, converts them into miles for the day and then gives you the cumulative for the week. This little tracker has soooo much to it it took me weeks to figure it all out - and the last thing my grandkids found. LOL! They were playing with it and swiped the screen to the right and showed me that! You can swipe the screen up, down, to the right and to the left. and then in some of those screens you can swipe and get different data. It's really a cool watch/tracker!
Q How do you factory reset this watch?
A I don't know about factory reset, but when the time change came around I walked around for about a week with it 1 hour behind. I finally realized I had to go to my phone and hit refresh and then my time reset and my texts, since I'd changed my text carrier.

A I have military time set on my phone, which automatically set my watch time in military.
