A They have covers/screen protectors in different colors. I'm sure the must have one in silver. It likely will Not be a metal-silver, though.

A I've never read or seen this feature mentioned any where, for any Fitbit.
Q Will this watch work with iphone xr?
A Yes it works very well with my XR I’ve had the Versa 2 for two years the same with my XR and they work well together.

A No
Q Have they solved the rash issues?
A I used to get rashes with the Fitbit Charge 2. I changed bands to a nylon or some synthetic band and rashes stopped. The silicon bands are supposed to be inert. The problem comes when we perspire with the silicon, it gets itchy, we scratch it and bring outside bacteria that lives under the band. If we do not wash our wrists and the bandwe get a rash. I am not a doctor, but have had all kinds of jungle, heat, and every day rashes and most comefrom bacteria. BTW, my doctor explained why a rash with the silicon or non-porous or absorbent watch bands.
Q can it work with my iphone 8 plus?
A :can it work with my iphone 8 plus?A: You can NOT use the quick reply or voice reply feature if you have any iPhone. These are convenient features but are of NO use on an iPhone. Wish I would’ve know I wouldn’t have gotten this Fitbit

A Google the difference. 3 cost more not much difference,
Q Will this watch alert me for high heartrate
A This fitbit versa 2 and even the fitbit sense is just a tool to identify your heartrate patterns and irregularities. It can not detect heart attack, stroke or other heart conditions. You could however, take these results (synced to your app) and show it to your doctor. So, no, it can not send you an alert signaling high heartrate, if that is what you are asking. I hope this helps you.
Q Does it record HR 24/7 continually or only when you press to test? And what about sleep paterns is it all night recording?
A It records your sleep pattern all night and even records my nap most of the time. I don’t know about recording the heart rate 24/7 but it is always monitoring it.
Q I have a Fitbit charge 2 that does not measure walking. Does the charge 4 measure walking?
A I have a Fitbit Versa 2 and there is a walking measure located in the exercise function.
Q Does it have alerts every hour it doesn’t log 250 steps every hour? like the alta hr?
A Yes! It will tell you that you have 15 more steps in this hour (for example).
Q Can you receive text messages from an iphone?
A I have an iphone 11 and a Versa 2 and yes, you can receive text and phone calls, just not reply or answer without the phone nearby. Nice feature with phone is, you can reject the call from the watch. It needs to be close enough to the phone since it’s bluetooth. It will not do it if it’s not connected to the phone. This feature worked even on the Blaze I used to have connected to an iPhone 8.
Q How close does your phone have to be to get notifications?
A I left my phone in the car the other day to run into the mini mart and got a call notification on my watch; but there are days I have to restart my phone to get it to connect at all (which I think is a phone issue not a watch deal)
Q Can you track your phone when miss placed with the versa 2 as you can on the Garmin video active power
A With the latest update there is a find my phone function available now.
Q Do you need to buy a subscription to use this watch? i wanna use sleep cycle but do i have to pay monthly? (already have prime for alexa part)
A I am paying nothing other than what I paid for the watch. I use sleep cycle daily as part of the Fitbit. There is no subscription involved. If you don’t want to use premium just ignore or no thanks. It has plenty of information plus gives your monthly report on how you’re doing.

A What does show up on my Versa 2 is a graph of Estimated Oxygen Variation. When you bring up the graph showing the sleep stages during a nights sleep, then scroll down past the bars showing the time spent in each stage, you find a graph of the estimated oxygen variation. A low variation is good and shows as a fairly stable green line - probably in the range of 90 percent oxygen saturation and above. A spike to higher variation - which might indicate apnea - shows up as an orange peak.A couple of nights ago,my wife woke to get me to roll to my side because had been snoring loudly for a while. When I looked at my sleep trace the next day the oxygen variation was low and steady until about a half hour before she woke me, then jumped up and continued rising as an orange line until it suddenly dropped to a normal range - probably when she woke me. Note: I had a sleep study done in February, which confirmed I have episodes of sleep apnea - mainly when I roll onto my back. I am being fitted for a CPAP on Friday,

A You have to keep your phone on and with you. And it works great.

A You can control music from your iphone, download it or use one of the many music apps. Up to you.

A I would not spend that much on it for my kids. I'd get them the less expensive version. Like a blaze or iconic. It's really not an exciting watch but it is an expensive one. The older versions do the same thing plus or minus some apps that most people wont use anyway.

A it is working well on my iPhone 11 including messages and social media notification not sure about other phones

A Yes, it comes with a usb charger chord. You will need the pronged wall charger usb piece to plug the chord into (that's the only piece it doesn't come with).

A its like any other watch as far as comfort, maybe moreso since the band is a bit wider than most women's bands. the face is an inch and a half square (almost 2 inches diagonal). I thought it would be too big too but it is amazingly perfect.I'd suggest you remove it for a bit each day and clean the band so you don't have a reaction to wearing it too much. I don't know if it has latex in the band (allergy to latex) but I also didn't take it off for the first month except to charge it.
Q Is the Emerald Versa 2 not available through Amazon?
A That would be a question to email Amazon directly about. If it doesnt show up in the purchase options, assume you are correct.

A Don't use it in the sea. Apparently the ocean water will short it out and kill it. I used my Fitbit versa for the first time in ocean water last weekend snorkeling in Cozumel and now my watch is dead.
Q can you send text replies on the watch?
A Yes! The android app let's you customize 5 responses to use. Either you can use one of those replies or tap on the text on your watch to open the text automatically on your phone. I use it with my Google Pixel 3a.
Q Will Amazon music be played on this?
A Sadly only Pandora and spotify PREMIUM accounts work with this and you don't get access to your own Playlists. You can load your own music and podcast (playlists only, not single tracks) via your computer (not phone). Download the fitbit app onto your computer and follow the instructions (or a YouTube how to video) to load it up. Don't forget to make your playlists on your computer first!

A Look up your tracking number to see where your Fitbit is. If it shows that it has been delivered, contact Amazon.
Q Can the Fitbit Versa 2 be used on a daily basis without being synced to a computer or to a smart watch? I want to use it in "standalone" mode only.
A You can use it that way, but you lose the ability to track your activity and sleep over time. It can store about 7 days of data on the watch, and then you need to either transfer that data to your phone or PC with the FitBit app or it will lose the data.

A Amazon has a Christmas gift return policy. If purchased as a gift by a certain date in Nov. I'm sorry I can't remember, you can return it up to Jan. 31st.

A Yes...I just got off the Phone with Versa customer Support. I also read about 2 small features not working. 1 is not true, the other is being fixed as we speak.
Q What is the wristband material?
A I got the upgraded V2 and the band is a braided nylon. The second band was more of a plastic band. Both functional for active wear.
Q Is it waterproof?
A Specs say wayer resistant which is different than waterproof. The International Organization of Standardization (ISO) has banned the use of the term "waterproof" to describe watches. No eatch is waterproof and resistant ratings only mean it can withstand that amount of pressure for a short period of time and not frequently. Any Google search will tell you what the ratings mean as far as use. If you want a watch for prolonged swimming or diving, get a 100-200 m resistant watch.
Q Does versa 2 count swimming laps?
A It does track swimming on the exercise portion of the app, however, since I've never gone swimming with the watch, I'm not sure if it counts laps or the length of time swimming.
Q Phone capability?
A Not sure what the question is specifying, but, to answer, calls and texts (with contact name) appears. You can respond to texts (via Quick Responses or speak directly into the device for Talk-to-text capability with option for editing). Phone calls can be answered/ignored from the device, however, actually talking on the phone, you will still need to use your actual phone. Hope this helps.

A It needs to be connected to your phone, also in order for Alexa to work it needs to be connected to your phone. Because it doesn’t have a SIM card or cellular you don’t have to pay for anything but it also means your phone needs to be connected to it all the time.
Q What’s the difference between the Special Edition and the regular one?
A Special Edition you get two bands. The reason I bought it was you get coach premium subscriptions for free for 3 months instead of 7 days.
Q Will watch bands and screen protectors for the previous Versa fit the Versa 2?
A Watch bands definitely work with Both Versa2 and Versa. I have both Versas. Don't know about screen protectors should I think

A You do NOT have to activate Alexa when you setup. But it is very cool. I was just driving and I asked Alexa how far to destination. BAM!
